*spoiler alert*

The second half of the Ambessa puzzle was how her new outfit would function for battle. I tried my best to match brute utility with thoughtful storytelling detail.

The Twin Drakehounds were her gauntlets, based on the Noxian animal of the same name. Originally Fortiche gave us a NO CHAINS rule for budget reasons but boy am I glad that they changed their minds. The shots of her mowing down enforcers in a violent dance of blades are some of my absolute favorites in the entire series.

To me, it had to look like Ambessa could take on Vi in hand-to-hand combat (though she sadly never did, she prefers 2v1s), and in that regard I think we succeeded!
