Councilor Ambessa

Thrilled to start sharing some of my design work on Arcane Season 2, starting with one of my favorite characters in the entire show: Ambessa!

I was tasked with designing her outfit for when she essentially stages a coup, instating a traumatized and manipulable Caitlyn as regent of Piltover. Normally, a Noxian would never wear ostentatious jewelry, only what was necessary for battle. But in this case, Ambessa had to become the wolf in sheep's clothing, "disguising" herself as a councilor more palatable to the Piltover aristocracy.

I also had to be creative about how this outfit would overlap with her new Warrior outfit, which was tricky because they were at two different ends of the spectrum in terms of function. There were literally dosens of iterations, but those will have to wait for now. Ultimately, I'm extremely pleased with how this one came out!
